The College of Engineering at the University of Wasit is situated in the heart of al-Kut city, located 180 km to the south of Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. It was founded in 2006 and offers four bachelor’s programs in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Architectural Engineering. The college also provides postgraduate programs including five MSc programs in Water and Environment, Power of Mechanics, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Electrical, and Urban Design Engineering, as well as a Ph.D. program in the Power of Mechanics Engineering.
